 Poem for Independence day

India is a great country and we celebrate our independence Day on 15th August various programs are held to celebrate  this great occasion in various places here you will find one poem for school children who can tell about the greatness of India on independence Day

Mother India

Mother India is a land of sages

Which is Known for it’s bravery for ages.

None can with it compete,

 Its culture none can beat.

Diverse casteS  and religion,

 All live here in unison.

With rivers, sweet fountains,

it's a land of high mountains.

Its green forests are pretty,

And are source of prosperity.

Let's for it work hard,

For its safety, be on guard.

Let’s make our India proud

Do selfless work on every ground

Then world will look at the country in envy

Every household will gleam with prosperity

Ladies and gentlemen,

A very warm welcome to all of you on this glorious day as we gather here to celebrate the spirit of freedom and mark the occasion of Independence Day. Today, we pay homage to the brave souls who fought for our liberty, and we reflect on the values and principles that define our great nation.

We stand here with a sense of pride, knowing that we are fortunate to live in a country where freedom and democracy prevail. Independence Day is not just a day to hoist our national flag and enjoy a day off; it is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our forefathers and the responsibility we have to uphold their legacy.

Today, as we embark on this auspicious occasion, we have a lineup of events that will remind us of the significance of this day and reignite our love for our motherland. Let us begin with the flag hoisting ceremony, where we will witness the unfurling of our national flag. I kindly request [name of the respected guest] to do us the honor.

[Pause for flag hoisting]

Thank you, [name of the respected guest], for gracing us with your presence and hoisting our national flag, a symbol of our freedom and unity.

Now, as we continue our celebration, we have a series of cultural performances that will showcase the diverse and rich heritage of our nation. We have talented artists who will present mesmerizing dance performances, patriotic songs, and theatrical acts that will remind us of the struggles and triumphs of our nation's journey towards independence.

While we revel in the joyous moments, let us not forget the countless heroes who selflessly served our nation. Our armed forces, police, and other security personnel have always been at the forefront, protecting our borders and ensuring our safety. We express our deepest gratitude and salute their unwavering dedication and sacrifice.

Independence Day is also a time to reflect on our responsibilities as citizens. Let us remember that the freedom we enjoy today came at a great price, and it is our duty to preserve and enhance it for the generations to come. We must embrace the values of unity, tolerance, and inclusivity, and work towards building a nation that stands as a shining example to the world.

Before we conclude, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, organizers, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this event a grand success. Your efforts are truly commendable, and we thank you for your dedication.

As we wrap up our celebration, let us carry the spirit of Independence Day in our hearts throughout the year. Let us strive to be better citizens, cherish our diversity, and work towards a prosperous and harmonious nation.

Once again, I extend my warm wishes to each one of you on this momentous occasion. Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind!
